Congratulations! You’ve realized that there’s something in your life that you want to change … and you have decided to seek out the assistance of a professional therapist.
On the other hand, you’re tired of the prospect of traditional therapy. Let’s be honest, it can be a bit overwhelming – the weekly commitments, waiting rooms, travel time, scheduling conflicts, and sitting in some uncomfortable office just wanting to be anywhere else.
That’s where online therapy or coaching on demand comes in.
Or perhaps you are an associate or therapist in-training needing Clinical Supervision on your path toward licensure.
Whether you're looking for therapy, clinical supervision or coaching, I can help!
Numerous studies have shown that online therapy is just as effective as traditional therapy. ¹
You have the freedom to schedule appointments when you feel there is something you need to work on.
Online therapy helps protect your privacy and excludes the chance of running into someone you know in the waiting room.
Empathy is important, but a good therapist should never assume that they know exactly what you’re experiencing. That’s why I take a stance of “not knowing” — or curiosity — in asking questions. That way, I can better understand what’s happening for you.
For example, if you tell me, “I’m depressed,” I don’t assume I know exactly what that means to you. Your experience and feelings are unique to you and I will want to ask questions to find out exactly what “I’m depressed” means and looks like in your life.
You are the true expert on how you experience your life. Together, we can help you become aware of any solutions or changes you want to make.
Please note: Not all issues may be appropriate for online work. I can help advise you if online therapy or coaching may be the right fit for you.
